This was a lesson unit I wrote for a grade 7 or 8 math class, combining
renewable energy with mathematical concepts. I wrote it while I was a
teacher-scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the
summer of 2007. The Dept. of Energy liked it so much that they
published it. Here's a local copy. And here's a
link that I found online. I didn't find out until
November 2011 that I'd been published.
